“From Then to Now” features some of Berni’s favourite songs from the cabaret days. Accompanied by a stellar cast of musicians from the Sunshine Coast, the tunes range from the saucy “My Heart Belongs to Daddy”, to the heart breaking “Vaya Con Dios”, originally recorded by her all-time favourite singer, Mary Ford. Daughter Kai-Lee appears as a guest artist with a version of “Someone to Watch Over Me” that is all soul.
