The Rakish Angles
Blending stringband tradition and contemporary composition The Rakish Angles weave an intricate tapestry of mostly original, mostly instrumental “Oldtime-Latin-Gypsy-Grass.”  The Angles are collectively influenced by the music of The David Grisman Quintet, The Creaking Tree String Quartet, Bela Fleck, and Django Reinhardt. The band is made up of renowned Sunshine Coast musicians Serena Eades (violin),  Simon Hocking (mandolin), Boyd Norman (bass) and Dan Richter (guitar).Â
